The way in which menswear is sensitised when worn by a woman, provide great inspiration to Iona's collection. She plays with garment structure and silhouette, manipulates contrasting weights and textures of fabric and combines this with immaculate tailoring and impeccable garment construction. Iona's farm upbringing and Scottish countryside studio surroundings inspire her paintings and fashion collections where us utilizes earthy, tonal fabrics such as cashmeres, wools, tweeds and leathers, complimenting these with handknitted pieces.
